What to do in
case you have to take the admission test
You must register for the
admissions test within the
deadlines illustrated in the
Call for admissions to the Bachelor’s degree programme you have selected.
- If you have a
Bachelor’s degree awarded by Politecnico di Torino, you must apply for admission to the desired
programme through the “Apply” procedure available on your personal page of
the Teaching Portal. You must use
the student number of your previous career at Politecnico.
- If you have a
Bachelor’s degree awarded by another university, you must apply for admission
to the desired programme through the Apply procedure available on the website of
Politecnico where you have to insert
the details of your previous career.
If you pass the admissions test, you can apply for career credit
recognition though the “Apply” platform. You must pay the first instalment of
your tuition fees within the deadlines
illustrated in the Call for admissions (in order to confirm your decision to
actually enrol in the programme).
You will have to pay a fee (fixed
amount) which is the same for everyone: both for students choosing part-time
enrolment and for those enrolling as full-time students. In case of part-time
enrolment the balance of the tuition fees will be due at the moment of the
preparation of the
Personal Study Plan/Annual Personal Study Plan.
Payment methods and terms for the
payment of tuition fees are illustrated
in the Tuition
Fee Guide a.y. 2017/2018 (article 18).
After the payment, the Programme academic coordinator (
referente cds)
will evaluate your previous academic records and
possibly recognize previous credits. The results of
the evaluation will be available on the Apply page, under the
“VALUTAZIONI”/”EVALUATIONS” section.
After the evaluation, you will be able read and accept the admissions resolution
and proceed with
online enrolment. Within
10 days from the enrolment date, you will have to prepare your
Personal Study Plan/Annual Personal Study
Plan.
At the end of this procedure, you will receive a student number and an
appointment for you to go to the Office of Student Services (the appointment
can be modified) for the verification of your documents and for the delivery of
your Smart-card.
If you have a university qualification of the same
or lower level compared to the degree programme for which you are applying, and
if you choose to enrol as a full-time student, you will not be able to apply
for fee reduction (art. 37 of the Tuition Fee Guide a.y. 2017/18)
If you choose part-time enrolment, you will have to pay different amounts
of money depending on the Annual Personal Study Plan that you want to get: you are
required to pay a fixed fee and a variable fee depending on the number of
credits you intend to include in your APSP (please note that this rule does not
apply to students who have an ISEE income lower than 30,500.00 EURO and who
meet certain requirements). For further information please check the Tuition
Fee Regulations a.y. 2017/18 and the Tuition Fee Guide a.y. 2017/18
