If you are enrolled in a Master’s degree programme at another Italian University and you intend to transfer to a Master’s degree programme offered by Politecnico, you must submit your previous academic records for an evaluation from the Apply@polito portal in compliance with the deadlines and the Admission requirements. This evaluation is useful to determine your eligibility for admission, your study plan and a possible recognition of your previous credits.
You are required to pay a fee of Euro 100.00. This amount will be deducted from your tuition fees if you enrol in the same academic year for which you applied. This fee will not be refunded.
We remind you that you must gain at least 50 credits at Politecnico (on top of the thesis credits) in order to attain your Master’s degree.
Politecnico will verify if your Bachelor’s degree is suitable for admission to our Master’s degree programmes (check the Admission requirements). Please wait until you are admitted to Politecnico before you submit your transfer request to your university of origin.
More information on how to request a transfer is available in the Student Guide.
Language Requirements
In order to be admitted to the Master’s degree programmes of the Architecture Area you must have an English language certificate (IELTS 5.0 or other certificate accepted in substitution for IELTS) within the date of your transfer (the language certificate is an admission requirement).
We remind you that any English language exam (graded or ungraded) that you passed while you were enrolled at another university IS NOT accepted by Politecnico in substitution for IELTS 5.0.
