Admission A.Y. 2019/20
Prospective students applying for a Master’s degree programme at Politecnico di Torino must have an English language certificate (CEFR – B2 level). This is an admission requirement.
Politecnico needs to verify your English language certificate.
If you have an IELTS certificate, please enter the TRF number of your IELTS certificate on the Apply@polito platform. You can find this number on your certificate.
If you have a Cambridge certificate, you do not need to upload a scanned copy of your certificate. The system will ask you to enter the certificate numbers for automatic verification.
If you have an English language certificate other than IELTS or Cambridge you must upload a scanned copy of your certificate to the Apply@polito platform. You must also show your original certificate to the Office of Student Services on the day of the appointment for the delivery of your smart card.
If you do not meet the language requirement for admission to a Master’s degree programme by the closing date for enrolment in first semester, you can enrol in single courses. In this case, you can choose the courses offered in the first semester of the first year of the Master’s degree programme for which you have been denied admission.
You will be able to enrol in your Master’s degree programme when you
get your English language certificate. You must enrol before the deadline for enrolment in second semester. Politecnico will automatically validate the courses you have already attended and recognize the credits you have earned so far.(More information is available in the
Student Guide for a.y. 2019-2020 –
Enrolment in single courses).
If you do not get an English language certificate by 2nd March 2020, you will not be allowed to enrol in a Master’s Degree programme in a.y. 2019/20.
Your enrolment in single courses (only first-semester courses which were already included in your APSP) will be valid for the whole academic year 2019/20 until the end of the Fall examination session.
IMPORTANT: you can submit your application on the Apply@polito platform even if you do not have an English language certificate on the date of application. You will be able to upload your English language certificate at a later moment, as long as you meet the enrolment deadlines.
