The enrolment process has two phases and is considered completed upon conclusion of both phases.
First phase - online enrolment:
To enrol in the Master’s degree programme you have chosen need to:
- add the information on your Bachelor’s degree to your application form (date of degree conferral and final grade)
- upload a passport size picture and confirm the data you entered on the Apply@polito portal at a previous stage;
- click on “Procedi con l’immatricolazione/Enrol” (you can enrol at Politecnico online only).
- pay the first instalment of your tuition fees. The amount varies on the basis of the type of enrolment you have chosen, as provided for by the Tuition Fee Guide and Regulations. The application fee (100€) will be deducted from the tuition fee you owe to Politecnico.
- receive your student ID number
- get an appointment with the Office of Student Services to collect your Smart-card (student card) (you can modify the appointment date by clicking on “change appointment date/time”).
The first phase must be completed within the Deadlines
How to pay the first installment
The payment can be made using the following payment methods:
- Credit card (VISA, Mastercard or PostePay – American Express is not accepted): a 1% bank commission will be applied
- MAV (Modulo Avviso Pagamento / electronic deposit slip): you can pay your MAV at any bank counter or through the online banking service of your bank. A bank commission of 0.59 Euro is applied for any MAV transaction regardless of the amount.After you pay, you need to register your payment on your Apply@polito personal page and enter the date of payment.
- PagoPa (online electronic payment to the Public Administration). You can choose one of the following payment methods:
- Avviso di pagamento/ Payment notice: you can generate a payment notice that you can pay at any facility that has a payment agreement with the Public Administration. When you use this method, your payment will be recorded within 24 hours.
- Credit card: when you use this method, your payment is recorded immediately
The use of a deferred payment method (for instance, a pre-printed notice of payment) is valid solely and exclusively if it is supported by a self-declaration of the payment date certifying that the payment was made before the deadline and in Italian territory. This declaration must be submitted by the same deadline. Should the self-declaration be found to be false or incorrect, the first phase of online enrolment will be cancelled and the applicant will lose the right to enrol at Politecnico for academic year 2019/20
Second phase - enrolment at the Office of Student Services
Enrolment becomes effective when you go to Office of Student Services. The documents to deliver on the day of the enrolment are the following:
- identification document
- English language certificate, if required.
This phase must be completed within
30th April 2020 otherwise you will be excluded from the enrolment process.
International students with a foreign Bachelor's degree have to bring on the day of the appointment their identification document and they also have to to deliver the Residence permit.
