In the
first part of the course will be presented the general principles of Metrology
together with the description of the most common instruments, principles and
methods of measurement in a manufacturing system implementing “additive
manufacturing”.
A second
phase of the course will focus on the
main techniques of Statistical Process Control (process capability, control
charts, etc.) and acceptance control (sampling plan, product test, etc.) with
the aim of furnishing the basis for designing and implementing a system for
quality control in a production context.
A final phase of the course will deal with the
fundamental concepts related to the current standards for Quality Management
(ISO 9000 family), their implementation in a production organization and the
obtainment of the relevant certification.
