
Claudio Comoglio is Associate Professor ofEnvironmental Management and Ecohydraulics. He holds a MSc and PhD in Environmental Engineering. His research areas of interest are: design and evaluation of river continuity restoration measures (fish passages) at weirs and intake structures (CFD analysis, telemetry monitoring, etc.); experimental studies on fish swimming behaviour; definition of methodologies for determining and assessing flow releases from intake structures (e-flows); development of Environmental Management Systems aimed at assessing and reducing the environmental impacts of human activities; definition and assessment of environmental performance indicators for specific sectors; organisations and products carbon footprint; multi-criteria analysis (MCA) and metrics for assessing the sustainability of water resources use.
In the 2nd level Specializing Master's programme in Climate Change: adaptation and mitigation solutions he will lecture Carbon Footprinting and Carbon Trading in the course Climate Change Mitigation.
