Professor in the Department of Environment, Land and Infrastructure Engineering (
DIATI) of Politecnico where is
Head of Groundwater Engineering Group.
He graduated with honors in Environmental Engineering in 2001 and he obtained his Ph.D. in Environmental Geoengineering in 2004. His studies focus on environmental monitoring and modelling, novel environmental reclamation technologies, and environmental nanotechnologies. For ten years he has been responsible of the environmental monitoringof the groundwater system during the construction of the “MOSE” Project for the defence of the Venice Lagoon from high tides.
