Politecnico di Torino,  under request and with the support of some local entities, took into consideration students living in some decentrated zones. This University issued some Student support decentrated structures, where didactic activities and office services are offered for Bachelor degree courses.
The decentrated structures system is a combination of traditional and distance teaching elements: on-line lessons and in loco tutors for classes and labs.
Gli esami si svolgono in modalità remota presso la struttura decentrata e hanno tempistiche, contenuto e forma analoga ai corrispondenti esami in sede. 
Active SSDS are: Biella (BI), Mondovì (CN), Verrès (AO) and Scano (OR). Enrolling on first year of an Engineering degree (except for Production Engineering), the student will access all the services. 
Note: A.Y. 2013/2014 above structures will be activated only with 20 students subscription. 
Currently, students should express their interest about the subscription, as from the next year, all first year Engineering lessons will be offered (except for Production Engineering).  If interested, applying for entrance exam, you will be asked to indicate the favorite Structure. If the entrance exam is passed, enrolling (part-time or full-time) you can confirm the subscription to the chosen SSDS with the specific application form.
