Politecnico uses as official means of communication the mailbox assigned to each student when enrolling. 

The e-mail address comes in the following format: 

  s<student number>@studenti.polito.it.

This accounts remains active even after the degree or the withdrawal.

Any other e-mail address used by students will not be taken into account. 

If a student is unable to show up in person at the Registrar’s Office for all kinds of information or procedures (for example: general information on his/her university career, fee payment, form delivery), he/she can authorize a trusted person with a signed proxy on non-stamped paper, together with an identity document of the authorized person and a readable copy of the identity document of the delegating person.
