Master's degree programmes 2020 - 2021
(students with italian degree)
ENROLMENT IN SECOND SEMESTER
Admissions a.y. 2020/21
Applicants from Politecnico di Torino
If you do not meet the requirements to advance your Master’s courses, but you manage to get your Bachelor’s degree in December or March, you can enrol in the Master’s degree programme you have chosen in the second semester. This type of enrollment allows you to include in your APSP only second-semester courses (first and second year).
If you graduate in March and you are admitted to the Master’s degree programme you have applied for, a new section (“Insegnamenti”) will be displayed on your Apply@polito personal page. From this section, you can choose your courses and you will see your class timetables and study materials on your personal page of the Teaching Portal.
Applicants from other Universities
If you get your Bachelor’s degree after the deadline for enrolment in the first semester, you can enrol in the Master’s degree programme you have chosen in the second semester. This type of enrollment allows you to include in your Annual Personal Study Plan only second-semester courses (first and second year). We remind you that your application for admission is valid for an entire academic year. Therefore, an application submitted at the beginning of the academic year remains valid for enrolment in second semester as well.
Students who enrol in a new Master’s degree programme in the second semester after withdrawing from studies
If you withdraw from a Polito Master’s degree programme after the deadline for enrolment in the first semester, you will be able to enrol in a new programme in the second semester in accordance with the corresponding deadlines.
If you withdraw before the deadline for the second instalment of your tuition fees, you will not have to pay it. You will have to pay the two instalments due for your new Master’s degree programme (first and second instalments – see Tuition Fee Guide a.y. 2020/21) The first instalment cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
COMPLETING YOUR PERSONAL STUDY PLAN AND ANNUAL PERSONAL STUDY PLAN
To create the PSP and APSP you need to:
  • Log in to your personal page of the Teaching Portal – Online services section.
  • Click the portlet “Create your Annual Personal Study Plan / Personal Study Plan
  • You will be directed to a page where you need to choose the specialist pathway for your Master’s degree programme (if the programme does not have any specialist pathway, you will be redirected to the Personal Study Plan page)
PERSONAL STUDY PLAN (PSP) / Piano CarrieraAfter choosing your specialist pathway, the system will redirect you to the page of your Personal Study Plan. Your Personal Study Plan includes your first and second-year Master’s courses. Even if you are enrolling in the first year, you need to include also your second-year courses (i.e. free choice credits, optional courses) to reach a minimum of 120 credits.
We remind you that you will be able to modify your Personal Study Plan when you enrol in the second year.
The standard Personal Study Plan shows the courses suggested for the specialist pathway you have chosen, but you can personalize it. If you want to add a course, search it by course code or course title in the search box below the Personal Study Plan: If you want to delete a course (only if you have not passed the exam yet), click the blue X.
Please note: if you want to delete a course from a table (grey background), you need to deselect it. To delete an entire table, you first need to deselect each course in the table. Click CONFIRM to save your changes and complete your Annual Personal Study Plan. If the changes you have made to your Personal Study Plan require the approval of the Academic Advisor of the programme the system will show a page where you can submit your request and explain your reasons.
After submitting your request, your Personal Study Plan will be sent for approval (status: under approval). During this period you will not be allowed to make any further changes until you get the result from the Academic Advisor.
Please note: the period during which your Personal Study Plan is under approval does not count towards the 10 days for the completion of the Personal Study Plan. After receiving the answer from the Academic Advisor, you have 10 more days to make other changes. You will receive a mail when the Academic Advisor has evaluated your request.
ANNUAL PERSONAL STUDY PLAN (APSP) /  Carico didatticoYour Annual Personal Study Plan includes the courses that you are going to attend during the current academic year. You need to drag the courses you wish to attend from the box “Personal Study Plan courses that can be included in your Annual Personal Study Plan” to the box “Annual Personal Study Plan”. Bear in mind that there is a limit in the number of credits that you can include in your Annual Personal Study Plan. The credit limit depends on your enrolment workload (Full-time enrolment: max. 80 credits / Part-time enrolment: max 40 credits).
We remind you that you can only include courses offered in the second semester (you will be able to add first-semester courses in the next academic year).
Please note: You can change your enrolment workload (part-time/full-time) every year upon enrolment.
