The world is changing rapidly and the ability to anticipate risks and provide effective solutions to face the effects of climate change is more important than ever.
The second edition of the 2nd level Specializing Master's programme in "Climate Change: adaptation and mitigation solutions" represents a unique opportunity for young graduates and professionals with a scientific and/or technical background to:
    1. acquire a full understanding of the dynamics underpinning the ongoing global warming and the decarbonization process in key sectors (e.g. energy, transport, agriculture) and explore how to apply these solutions in real-world situations;
    2. profit from a think-tank environment promoting the exchange of ideas and expertise with researchers from top-level universities and top managers from the private sector;
    3. gain practical experiences in a well-established network of outstanding companies engaged in production & processing, and service-provision.
To achieve these objectives, a strong corporate partnership has been established through the involvement of a number of relevant companies as Acea Pinerolese, Andriani, EYEnelFerrero, Golder, IthacaLavazza, NativaPlanet Smart City, RINA, SMAT, TernaWave for Energy, Waterview, SystematicaBuzzi UnicemRIE and the scientific partners Enel FoundationElis and ECMWF (list under updating).

*Politecnico di Torino defined specific operational procedures concerning the measures against the spread of COVID-19 that are constantly updated according to the provisions of the Italian Authorities on this matter (please refers to http://www.coronavirus.polito.it).
In case COVID-19 emergency should continue and it would not be possible to hold classes on site, all classes will be guaranteed online, through a virtual classroom platform (on synchronous basis with possibility to register classes to make these available on asynchronous basis).
In case Italian national rules allow to hold classes at Politecnico di Torino but some enrolled students would be unable to attend due to their regional or national provisions on COVID-19, these students will be guaranteed the possibility to follow classes online, upon presentation of documentation proving such impeding provisions.
