The most ambitious achievment
among the Erasmus+ and extra-EU mobilities programmes is obtaining a double
degree (e.g. the Engineering degree from Politecnico di Torino and the
equivalent degree obtained in a European or extra-European university) through
a study programme agreed between the two universities and developed in both of
them.
Students interested
in this project can find in the public call for selection (Bando di Concorso, European and extra-European) specific
information about the universities with which a double degree agreement has
been signed.
Double degree
agreements offer a stay at the partner university which can last from a minimum
of a full academic year to a maximum of two. Normally students can do a full
year abroad plus a semester dedicated to their final project (around 18 months
abroad in total). In order to get the double degree, students generally are
asked to extend their studies for one semester. In any case, students who go to
a European or an extra-European university to get their double degree can
receive a scholarship for a maximum of 18 months.
