The Statute and
University Rules state students’ delegates to be part of the government bodies.
Students can refer
to them for suggestions and requests to Politecnico.
Their role is
fundamental to involve students in Politecnico life, also through active
participation in discussing fundamental issues, such as teachings, courses,
research and services to students.
Positive results have been reached in the past thanks to student
delegations involvement, thus encouraging students to believe in their ideas
communicating them to the representatives who will make their voice heard.
Elections are issued
every two years. The last election were held in December 2012.
Student delegation
is part of:
- Board of Governors – 2 delegates
- Academic Senate – 5 delegates, one of them has
to be enrolled to PhD;
- Professors and Students Joint Committee/CPD – 11
delegates, one for each department.
Student delegation
participates also to Department Councils and Study Courses Commissions.
Moreover, Politecnico students elect a
delegate for the
EDISU (
Ente per il Diritto allo Studio) Board of Directors. In this Board there are also two
delegates from University of Torino and one delegate form Oriental Piedmont
University. [Ongoing modifications]
Lastly, two
delegates are also elected for
CUS (Comitato Universitario dello Sport di Torino) Torino Committee. The delegates’ contacts can
