The Computer Animation
course aims at providing students with an overview of techniques and methodologies
used to design and develop computer graphics animations, mainly in the field of
the arts.
Starting from 3D scene modeling, light positioning, camera movements
and character pose, more advanced animation methodologies will be
introduced.
Students will learn to animate and deform virtual characters
by forward and inverse kinematics as well as to simulate physical phenomena
such as: gas, fire, smoke, rain, soft bodies and fluids.
