Technological innovation is one of the
phenomena that design and art have always had in common.
The digital life is a fertile
ground for defining new and not only technical transformations. Open Source,
personal manufacturing, Makers movement and the new places where innovation
grows, like FabLabs and TechShops provide food for thought.
The course aims at discussing the terms of this evolution by analyzing relevant case studies, in order
to define possible evolutions of the new development scenarios.
