How to upload the English language certificate
Your English language certificate must be registered under your personal data before enrolment. Registration methods are the following:- If you got your IELTS certificate through the University Language Center (CLA): your certificate will be registered automatically a few days after the results are published;
- If you got your IELTS certificate outside Politecnico: you need to enter the TRF number of your IELTS certificate on your personal page of the Teaching Portal – Online services section. You can find this number on your certificate or in the message you received by e-mail when the results were published.
- If you have a Cambridge certificate: you must log in to your Cambridge personal page and select the option that allows Cambridge to share your results with Politecnico di Torino (follow the instructions available at https://support.cambridgeenglish.org/hc/en-gb/articles/360021664771-Sending-your-results-to-a-recognising-organisation). Enter your Candidate's ID number (or – if this is not possible – upload your Statement of results) to your personal page of the Teaching Portal – Online services section.
- If you have a TOEFL certificate: you need to enter the code of Politecnico di Torino (C285) when you register for the exam. If you did not enter the code of Politecnico di Torino (C285), you must upload a scanned copy of your TOEFL certificate to your personal page of the Teaching Portal - Online services section.
- If you have a different English certificate (included in the list of accepted certificates published on the CLA website) you must upload a scanned copy of your certificate to your personal page of the Teaching Portal - Online services section.
Enrolling in a Master's degree programme after obtaining the English language certificate After registering your English language certificate as explained above, you must complete your enrolment in your Master's degree programme by the deadlines.
Follow these steps:
- Log in to your personal page of the Teaching Portal which shows your SINGLE COURSES (DO NOT login with the F-username that you used to submit your application for admission to the Master's degree programme)
- Select the Online services tab, select the Apply@polito portlet and click "Effettua nuova iscrizione/Make a new enrolment"
- Select the Evaluations section on your Apply@polito personal page and click the button "Enrol in this programme";

- pay the tution fee amount shown on the page in order to complete your enrolment;
- write down your new student ID number.
Please note: After completing the enrolment process, the fixed amount that you paid for enrolling in single courses will be transferred to your TUITION FEES section (Personal page of the Teaching Portal - Online services tab - Tuition fees and payments portlet) and will be deducted from the second instalment of your tuition fees (except for € 16 corresponding to the revenue stamp which is not refundable).
If you have chosen a part-time workload, we suggest you wait until the exams passed in the winter session are recorded in your transcript. This will prevent you from exceeding the 40-credit limit. First-semester exams that you have not passed will be counted in the 40-credit limit.
CREATING YOUR PERSONAL STUDY PLAN (PSP) AND ANNUAL PERSONAL STUDY PLAN (APSP)
After completing the enrolment process, you must create your Personal Study Plan and your Annual Personal Study Plan within 10 days from the date of enrolment. Follow the procedure available on your personal page - Online Services tab:
