IRIS SRL specialises in
innovative applications of plasma and laser technologies, including Additive
Manufacturing. IRIS is involved in two major European projects that will
develop highly efficient AM equipment delivering low production costs and high
productivity for large working volumes and multi-material applications,
targeting specifically the avionics and medtech sectors.
IRIS is a start up who
has rapidly expanded from three to six members of staff with two already fully
occupied in additive manufacturing related work.
IRIS is expanding to follow the
new business development line.
Hiring opportunity
IRIS SRL is seeking a process specialist who will
follow a new project starting January 2017 and who will assist the IRIS
personnel involved in two international research projects on additive
manufacturing. He/she will be tasked with the process development,
characterisation and validation, so to define and implement the strategy for
the optimisation of costs and resources consumption.
Furthermore, the
apprentice will be in charge of the reporting and dissemination of the work
undertaken.
The apprentice will report directly to IRIS CEO and will be based
at IRIS ‘s offices and labs in Turin, and will attend, if required, project
meetings and visits at Italian and European partners’ premises.
Selection process
IRIS will select its apprentice on the basis of up to
two interviews to ascertain the motivation, technical background and skills of
the candidates with the most suitable CV.
The interview panel will include the
CEO and senior members of IRIS who will assess the technical preparation, the
language skills and the interest of the candidates in the subject and the work.
